Continue to the majestic Red Fort (from outside) and then head to Raj Ghat, the peaceful memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation. Your journey continues with a drive past India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to the 82,000 soldiers of the Indian and British armies who lost their lives in World War I. After lunch, visit the beautiful Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first garden tomb in the Indian subcontinent. This monument is said to have inspired the design of the Taj Mahal. Later, explore the Lotus Temple, a Bahá’í House of Worship open to people of all faiths, known for its striking lotus-shaped architecture and serene ambiance. Your final stop is at the towering Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest brick minaret in the world.
