Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrival in Guwahati
Arrive in Guwahati. Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Visit
Kamakhya Temple or enjoy a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (optional).
Day 2:
Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park
Drive to Kaziranga (approx. 5-6 hours). Check into a resort. Evening at leisure
to explore local Assamese culture.
Day 3:
Kaziranga – Jungle Safari Day
Early morning elephant safari in the central range followed by jeep safari in
the western range. Spot rhinos, elephants, tigers, swamp deer, and exotic
birds.
Day 4:
Kaziranga – Nameri National Park
Transfer to Nameri (approx. 3 hours). Enjoy nature walks, birdwatching, and
river rafting on the Jia Bhoroli River. Overnight in eco-camp.
Day 5:
Nameri Exploration
Morning jungle trek with forest guides. Explore the lush forests and watch for
hornbills, macaques, and butterflies.
Day 6:
Nameri – Majuli Island
Drive to Jorhat and take a scenic ferry to Majuli, the cultural heart of
Assam. Visit Satras (Vaishnavite monasteries), meet local artisans, and enjoy a
traditional Mishing village stay.
Day 7:
Majuli Exploration
Spend the day exploring Majuli's unique culture, art, and crafts. Visit mask
makers, potters, and serene riverbanks.
Day 8:
Majuli – Manas National Park
Travel back to the mainland and drive to Manas National Park (a UNESCO
Natural World Heritage Site). Evening safari or leisure at the lodge.
Day 9:
Manas – Wildlife Safari
Morning and afternoon safaris. Spot golden langurs, wild buffalos, elephants,
and even the elusive Bengal tiger.
Day 10:
Manas – Kaziranga – Guwahati – Departure
Drive back to Guwahati via Kaziranga. Transfer to the airport/railway station
for onward journey.
